Bald is Beautiful is a photo shoot designed to capture the beauty behind the bald.
Our talented photographer Claudine was able to do just that, taking shots of everyday people with big hearts. Our chosen subjects were just a handful of the dedicated people that support this event.
In this years shoot, we have featured a few of our amazing youth volunteers that are also participants, (including the 3 siblings), a striking, inspirational teacher from Neil M Ross, a formal journalist / editor and fellow karate student, an exceptional young man who has survived childhood cancer, a dedicated volunteer and family friend, our very first head we shaved in 2003 who is an important member of the Hair Massacure committee and close friend (she is seen with her young daughter), and an outstanding family from Gibbons with the most adorable little girls!
Our founder Gord MacDonald is featured in this year's shoot and can also be seen with our family shots in the MacDonald family gallery. Special thanks to Claudine and our beautiful bald subjects!
