Hair Donations

Hair donations have always been encouraged by the Hair Massacure. Our first priority is to ensure that children benefit from these donations.

A minimum of 10 inches is now required for wigs. We request that hair that will be donated be unprocessed (not dyed and no product in it). Hair must be clean and dry.

Hair Donation can take place throughout the year, by braiding it, cutting it, and dropping it off at Alfred's Hair in Edmonton (alfreds@alfreds.ab.ca or 780- 454-5656) who will ship the hair overseas to be manufactured into wigs. Alfred has, for years, made a policy to help the children suffering from cancer, most importantly local children from Edmonton and outlying areas.

If you are growing out your hair for the Hair Massacure, we commend you for the sacrifice! We look forward to collecting your hair at the February 2011 event!
